This unit is designed to provide the skill and knowldge for operators to utilise the computer systems of their organisation. The unit focus on the intranet, SCADA, maintenance systems and basic word processing and spreadsheets.

NWP212B Operate basic flow control and regulatory devices

This unit is designed to provide the skills and knowledge for new operators into the industry on how to operate the range of valves, flow and pressure control devices found within their own water distribution system. The unit will cover all types of routine valves including hydraunts, basic PRV’s, air valves, sluice valves and non-return valves.

NWP215B Install and replace basic volumetric metering equipment

This unit is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required of new operators to remove and install water meters within the distribution system.
