Learner information, policies and procedures

All the information you need to support your learning journey

Water Training Australia is committed to supporting you through your accredited industry-based professional development program.

Training is delivered via:

Classroom based delivery

(off‑the‑job training)

On‑the‑job training

(training and assessment at your workplace)

Training away from your job, such as classes or online sessions (e.g. Zoom or MS Teams). We’ll tell you dates, topics, and what to bring to class.

You’ll practise tasks, collect evidence, and may be observed by a workplace supervisor Subject Matter Expert (SME) or a WTA trainer. SMEs help you practice and sign off workplace activities in your Training Logbook, but only the assessor can decide final competency.
